Non-Discriminatory Trading Policy for Crypto Assets

1. Introduction

At Veli UAB (“Veli”, “we”, or “the Company”), we believe that every client deserves equal, fair, and transparent access to our trading platform.

This Non-Discriminatory Trading Policy explains how we ensure that all users can trade under the same conditions, without unfair advantages or restrictions.

The policy follows the principles set out in Article 65 of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), which require crypto-asset service providers to maintain transparent, fair, and non-discriminatory practices.

Our goal is simple: to make sure every client—regardless of size, location, or trading activity—can trade with confidence, knowing they are treated equally.

2. Purpose and Scope

This policy applies to all trading services provided by Veli, including:

  • Placing and transmitting crypto orders for execution;
  • Operation of trading venues and order-matching systems;
  • Access to market data and pricing information; and
  • All related platform features and services.

 

It covers all eligible retail and professional clients using our crypto-asset platform.

3. Equal Access

We ensure that every verified client who meets our eligibility requirements enjoys equal and non-discriminatory access to all core platform functions, including:

  • Real-time market data and pricing;
  • Order-submission and trading systems;
  • Post-trade information and reporting tools; and
  • Platform support and account features.

Access is determined solely by objective factors, such as:

  • Successful completion of AML/KYC verification;
  • Technical capability to connect to our systems; and
  • Compliance with risk and security requirements.

 

We never restrict or favor users based on geography, trading volume, or client type, unless required by law or regulation.

4. Fair Treatment of Clients

All clients are treated fairly, consistently, and without bias.

We do not provide preferential treatment based on:

  • Trading activity or frequency;
  • Account size or status; or
  • Legal or institutional form.

 

If any partnership or special arrangement exists (for example, a market-making agreement with defined liquidity obligations), it is disclosed transparently and based on objective commercial terms—never at the expense of ordinary clients.

Veli does not engage in proprietary trading that could conflict with client interests, nor do we manipulate order flow or pricing.

5. Transparency of Trading Rules

We maintain clear, publicly available information about how our trading systems work, including:

  • Who can access the platform and how eligibility is determined;
  • Applicable fees and pricing models;
  • Supported order types and execution methods; and
  • Key safeguards such as price-limits and circuit-breaker mechanisms.

 

All relevant trading terms are disclosed in our Terms of Service, Fee Schedule, and Platform Rules, available on our website.

Any material updates are announced in advance through the platform or by email notification.

6. Reporting and Client Rights

We encourage clients to contact us immediately if they believe that access, execution, or treatment has been discriminatory in any way.

Complaints or concerns can be submitted through:

 

Veli will:

  • Acknowledge the concern promptly;
  • Conduct a fair and independent review; and
  • Provide a reasoned response, including corrective action if necessary.

 

We aim to resolve any such matter transparently and respectfully, in line with our Complaints Handling Policy.
