About the CAS Blockchain of the University of Geneva

The CAS Blockchain of the University of Geneva is an official Certificate of Advanced Studies program that combines academic rigor with real-world application. Delivered online via Zoom with optional networking events in Geneva, the program is taught by Dr. Jean-Marc Seigneur and leading experts from companies like IBM, Taurus, and ChainSecurity.

The program offers:

  • Module 1: Fundamentals of Web3, Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, DeFi, NFTs, and Metaverses.

  • Module 2: Designing and Developing Blockchain Projects (dApps and NFTs).

  • Module 3: Development with Ethereum.

  • Module 4: Blockchain Project Management and Innovative DLTs (Starkware, Polkadot, Hedera).

  • Full CAS: Completion of all modules plus a supervised final project, worth 12 ECTS credits, leading to the official University of Geneva certification.

Participants earn internationally recognized ECTS credits and receive an academic credential from a world-class institution.
